Head Coach Greg Brierley
Greg Brierley is in his sixth season with the Cardinals and his fifth as the Lady Cards Head Coach. Greg came to Concordia in the winter of 2010 as their Assistant Coach and his impact on the program was huge right from the start.
In his first season as Head Coach Greg lead the Cardinals to the best season in 10 years good for a 4th place finish in the WHAC, and 4th most wins in school History with an overall program record of 33 wins and 24 losses earning him 2012 WHAC Co-Coach of the year.
Along with other History breaking marks in 2012 Greg also added a JV program to Concordia University softball. In the Inaugural season the JV lady Cardinals went 10-1.
Greg was raised in Pensacola Florida where he attended Pensacola Christian Schools. He moved with his family to Michigan graduating from Milan High School in 1985. While at MHS Greg earned Varsity letters in baseball, basketball, and football. After graduating from Milan High school Greg attended the Boston Red Sox's Training camp as a catcher.
Greg attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he played football for the Golden Eagles. He later came back to Michigan and studied Fire Science, Arson investigations, and Fire officer leadership at School Craft College. Greg retired from the City of Ypsilanti Fire Department in August of 2014 after 20 years of service as a Fire Fighter/Arson Investigator.
Greg comes to Concordia from Milan High school where he was the assistant varsity softball coach for the Big Reds. In 2010 he helped lead The Big Reds to the best season in school history with a record of 34-6. Prior to High school coaching Greg was the Milan Middle School's head softball coach where he lead the Little Reds to an undefeated season winning the League and Tournament Championship. In his free time Greg works with the youth softball players in Milan and surrounding area as a softball pitching, hitting, and catching instructor. Greg is an ASA ACE Certified Coach and is a member of the NFCA.

Greg is happily married to Shelly Brierley. They have two children.
Cheyenne is a junior at Concordia University playing softball for the Cardinals as a catcher/ utility player. Cody is a 6'6" junior football and baseball player at Milan High school.
Greg and his family reside in Milan, MI.
